Monday, Monday….can we just go back to the weekend? I had a particularly splendid weekend and I’m ready for more! Well, since I don’t know how to turn back the clock, I guess I’ll go with the next best option….chocolate!!!!
Chocolate Dipped Banana with Sliced Almonds
- Banana, sliced
- Chocolate – the darker the better
- Sliced Almonds, roughly chopped
Simply melt the chocolate and dip 1/4 of the sliced banana into the chocolate. Sprinkle on sliced almonds and pop in the freezer.
This is such a tasty treat right out of the freezer or you can let them sit on the counter for a few minutes and soften a bit. They are ooey gooey and sure to please even the sweetest sweet tooth!

I bet if you used the chocolate recipe for (dipping) strawberries you wouldn’t have to freeze the bananas….hmmm, I think i’ll try that for a party i’m going to late this month. They sound sooooooooo yummy ; 0!! I usually use chopped Hazelnuts on my Strawberries but chopped Almonds sound just as good…..I meant GREAT ; )
