Kale Freezer Pops

I love summer time!  I love the goodies that come along with summer time…flip flops, shorts, swimming, boating, icy frozen cocktails.  Erp!  Well, actually ever since I started my trip to Mommy Land, the frozen cocktails seem to be a bit more absent from my life.  What to do, what to do.  I guess I’ll just make do with some freezer pops!

Kale for dessert anyone?

Any takers for frozen kale as a sweet treat?

Okay, I know it doesn’t sound appetizing and it might even look a little weird but it tastes good and is incredibly good for you – so there!  Plus, you don’t have to tell anyone there is kale in this freezer pop.  Get ready, you’re going to like this!

Kale Freezer Pops

  • 15 Strawberries
  • 3 Bananas
  • 2 cups Kale

Clean the strawberries, peel the bananas and rinse the kale.  Blend in the food processor or blender until smooth.  Pour into freezer pop molds, freeze and enjoy.

Start with some beautiful strawberries!  Gotta love the farmers market.  And my little helper wanting to eat the strawberries during my photo op.

If you have kids, bring them in the kitchen and let them help you.  Ava loves to pick fruit and wash it in the strainer.  Plus it takes her a few minutes so I have time to prep other things.

Blend everything together in a large blender or food processor.

Pour into freezer pop molds.

And now is the best part!  After playing outside this is the perfect treat!
