Okay, back to the recipe…Cauliflower Cream Sauce!!!!! Yes, it really does require that many exclamation points! This is like a creamy alfredo sauce but instead of fatty-pants, artery-clogging, heavy-cream, milk-and-butter, this sauce is full of veggies that are perfect for the picky eaters in your life!
Cauliflower Cream Sauce
- 1 Head of Cauliflower
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 3-4 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 2-3 cups of Vegetable Stock
- 1/3 cup Cream
- Fresh Grated Nutmeg
- Salt and Pepper
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
Saute the onion and garlic.
Add the cauliflower and veggie broth.
Bring on the immersion blender. If you don’t have an immersion blender, you can transfer this to a food processor or stand blender. Might have to work in batches.
Blend until nice and smooth.
Add a bit of cream, the seasonings and cheese to kick up the flavor.
You are ready to serve your picky eaters a mighty fine cream sauce!!
