Pumpkin Smoothie

Okay, I know we’ve all seen pumpkin smoothies…or have you?  If you haven’t tried a pumpkin smoothie, then it’s about time you did!  You will love this tasty little treat.  The smell is incredible; it smells like pumpkin pie in a cup!  Ava took a sip and said “mmmm, it smells good in there.”

Today I served these pumpkin smoothies in mini-tasting glasses.  This would be PERFECT for a Halloween party!  Plus it’s such a great orange color with zero food coloring!

Pumpkin Smoothie

  •  1 Banana, frozen (it doesn’t have to be frozen but it does make is super cold)
  • 1/3 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/4 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • Dash of Fresh Grated Nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Flax Seeds or Chia Seeds
  • 1 cup Almond Milk

Simply mix all the ingredients together in a blender and serve.

I don’t know what came over me but I had some leftover white chocolate from these cute Pretzel Ghosts and I dipped the rim of mini glasses into the melted chocolate, let is set a few minutes and tada!!!

  1. How wonderful that looks! Especially your clever idea of the white chocolate. I ventured into the experimental world of pumpkin smoothies last year- it was fun.

These look so good! I found some organic canned pumpkin in the back of my cupboard and I’m going to try this tomorrow. I love that it doesn’t have dairy in it :)
